from high strength woven polypropylene each strap is 25mm wide x 4.8
metres long, and is fitted with a captive quick release polypropylene
buckle. System strength is approx 140 kgs and the straps are packed 1000
lengths per carton.BELLYBANDS can be used for both vertical and horizontal strapping applications without using strapping tools as the strap is simply pulled by hand through the buckle, which locks automatically. Tension release is achieved simply by raising the leading edge of the buckle. BELLYBANDS CAN BE USED OVER AND OVER AGAIN..they do not split or rupture as can be the case with some extruded straps, and of course tension can be varied to suit both soft and rigid products. Similarly, they are better suited to part packs than bands of a fixed loop size e.g. where some components of a load have to be removed. BELLYBANDS are ideally suited for all internal and inter depot product movements where the bands can be retained for repeated use.
