hand toolFor example, with other tools the sealer block often gets stuck in the down position, a fault that can be caused by worn bearings, weak return springs, damaged gears or ratchets....so we eliminated them! The Series 5000 sealer block is linked directly to a massive cam shaft and direct drive operating lever...it is unlikely that you will ever experience a jammed sealer block again! Another common problem with similar tools is caused by small tension ratchets operating on tiny steel pivot pins which are located in aluminium handles. The ratchets can require frequent replacement, pivot shafts often shear and locating holes for the shafts often go oval requiring expensive repair and disruption to users production schedules.
