The Plastic Strapping Company Ltd based in Nottingham is now offering large users of Polyester plastic strapping a recycling service for damaged coils of polyester strapping. Extruded polyester strapping is normally wound on large 400mm ID cardboard cores and these are very prone to damage during handling, as with strap they weigh average 20 kgs each and if dropped go oval making it impossible to use them on automatic strapping machines.
The minimum acceptable quantity we will collect is a pallet load (48 coils full coils) although any smaller quantity of reels can be returned to us if carriage paid.
