CMT 50 The Battery Powered Strapping Tool
is manufactured by The ITW Group and is presented in different livery for Cyklop to that of the ITW group members
The method of operation is manual tensioning with a welded strap seal.
Published specification reads:
Wherever medium-heavy packages need high strap tension and where manual strapping is required in serveral locations, the CMT 50 is the optimal choice. The strap is tensioned manually (with tension plate, separate strap input) up to 2.300 n, the strap is then joined with a friction seal powered from the battery. The tool is supplied with an automatic charger and a long-life industrial battery.
